Cancellation and Refund Policy

Clear options when an order does not go as planned.

This policy explains when an order may be cancelled, which item issues may qualify for a refund, and how approved refunds are returned to customers.

Order cancellation

You may request cancellation before the store begins preparing, packing, or dispatching the order.
Once preparation or dispatch begins, cancellation may be declined because perishable or made-to-order items cannot always be restocked.
TrueBazar or the vendor may cancel an order because of unavailable products, failed payment verification, an unserviceable address, safety concerns, or an operational issue.
If only part of an order is unavailable, the affected item may be removed and refunded while the remainder is fulfilled.

Refund eligibility

A refund may be approved when:

a prepaid order is cancelled before fulfilment;
payment is captured but no valid order is created;
the same payment is captured more than once;
an item is missing, materially different, damaged, spoiled, expired, or otherwise unusable on delivery; or
the order is not delivered and the investigation confirms non-delivery.

Items that normally cannot be returned

Food, groceries, medicines, personal-care products, and other perishable or hygiene-sensitive items are normally not returnable after successful delivery. This restriction does not prevent a refund review when an item is wrong, damaged, spoiled, expired, missing, or materially not as described.

Open the order from your account and use the available refund or support action.

Report item-condition issues as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours of delivery. Include the order number, affected item, reason, and clear photographs where relevant.

Refund method and timeline

Approved online-payment refunds are sent to the original payment method. Approved cash-on-delivery refunds may require verified bank or UPI details. TrueBazar normally initiates an approved refund within 5–7 business days. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to credit the amount. Any non-refundable delivery or service charge will be disclosed during the review.
